Brakpan and its suburbsPlumbing call-outs on the East Rand

Privacy Notice

Here is how The Brakpan Plumbers handles what you enter in the call-out form, laid out for South Africa's privacy law, POPIA.

What the form asks for

Your name and a phone number, which are needed to call you back. Your suburb, your email address, the kind of job and a description are optional; leave any of them out if you prefer.

Why we ask

Only to phone you about the job you described, to arrange a visit, and, if you go ahead, to quote and invoice it. Your details are not sold, not added to a mailing list and not used for advertising.

Where the details go

  • The form sends them over an encrypted connection to the server that runs this site (Cloudflare).
  • From there they are delivered by email through a mail service (Resend) to the plumber who handles Brakpan call-outs.
  • Nothing from the form is stored on this website itself.

How long they are kept

For as long as the job needs, and for any period the law requires for invoices. A request that does not become a job is deleted within six months.

Cookies and tracking

No analytics, advertising cookies or tracking scripts run on these pages.

Your rights

You may ask what details are held about you, have them corrected, or have them deleted. Send the call-out form with your request in the description box. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may complain to the Information Regulator.
